CV-Online's preselection services provided an efficient and cost-effective tool for Unilever and were utilised at the time of hiring sales and marketing graduates.
CV-Online combined the benefits of job advertisements, employee branding tools and their extensive candidate database, all of which were available through the Internet, to identify and source potential candidates on our behalf. CV-Online's project team took the time to read through every single potential candidate's CV and engaged in candidate communication – both through email and telephone. As a final stage CV-Online invited the very best candidates to their office for a 15 minute face to face interview, during which time competencies and personalities were assessed.
In addition to this, CV-Online examined the potential managerial qualities that the candidates' possessed and provided us with feedback as to the level of such qualities through their candidate summary reports.
Unilever saved both time and resource as a result of not having to assess the candidates against the basic pre-requisites such as communication skills, team player characteristics, English language knowledge etc., etc.
Our task was to meet only those candidates who were able to convince CV-Online's project team that they had 'star' qualities and could become future leaders.

Throughout June-October 2004 CV-Online were tasked with identifying, sourcing and screening junior-mid level professionals, from all disciplines - administrative, logistics, finance, sales and technology, across Russia. It was our objective to build a talent pool; through the utilization of CV-Online's e-recruitment services.
The overall project co-ordination went very smoothly and this was primarily due to the fact that CV-Online dedicated an international project team to the assignment. They were an extension of Intel's own Staffing Organisation and allowed our own resources to be freed up to focus on other key priorities.
The smooth co-ordination allowed me the scope to Project Manage the Intel/CV-Online relationship at a high level, concentrate on indicators & success criteria, job profile updates, and to mitigate for any potential roadblocks that could have hit us.
The online tools which were utilized on behalf of Intel, included job advertisements and employee branding. Through such tools CV-Online was able to maximize the reach in the jobseeker community, deliver one cohesive message about our recruitment activities, whilst retaining flexibility and speed. This enabled them to have the capability to shift focus and source between many different Job Profiles to facilitate requirements around difficult skill sets and 'hot profiles'.
In summary, this was a successful project, with sufficient candidates now in our pipeline to facilitate hiring requirements through Q1 2005 an excellent achievement in just 5 months!
